Experience

Laura is a self-taught baker, recipe developer, food writer, and photographer with over 10 years of experience in the kitchen. She has developed hundreds of well-tested baking recipes, and is known for her detailed and thorough approach: every recipe goes through careful testing and fine-tuning to ensure consistent results.

Years before she started developing her own recipes, Laura learned to bake alongside her late Grammy. That’s where she picked up the feel of sticky bun dough that’s ready to shape and how to crimp a perfect pie crust.

Those early lessons, paired with her background in journalism, shape the way she approaches baking today: with a focus on technique, timing, and texture to create approachable recipes that actually work.
