Baking Philosophy

As a self-taught baker and recipe developer for nearly a decade, I’m all about the experience in the kitchen. Whether you’re here to improve your baking skills or you’re a baking pro, my goal is to equip you to bake from scratch with tested recipes you can count on!

Many of my recipes highlight seasonal ingredients like Meyer lemons and farm stand strawberries. I also adore anything chocolate (with salt!) and I’ve been known to put brown butter in everything (especially cookies).

A little more about me…

Signature dessert: Shortbread cookies and all the crumb bars!

Kitchen essential: KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer (mine is sunny yellow)

Kitchen sidekick: My Ragdoll cat, Latte. She’s the queen (and she knows it!).

Go-to meal: Bruschetta—there’s nothing better than sweet summer tomatoes showered with basil and served up on freshly toasted ciabatta.

Travel spot: Italy! I especially adore Florence, Venice, and the Italian Lakes region.

Can’t live without: Coffee. Chocolate. Freshly baked bread.
