Nectarine Ice Cream

  • Yield: 6 cups


  • 2 cups peeled and diced nectarines
  • 1 Tbsp peach liqueur (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk


  1. Combine nectarines, peach liqueur, honey, salt, and sugar in a food processor; blend until mostly smooth. Pour mixture into a medium bowl and whisk in heavy cream and whole milk. Cover and chill mixture for four hours in the refrigerator.
  2. Pour chilled ice cream mixture into frozen cylinder of ice cream maker; freeze according to manufacturer’s instructions. Spoon mixture into a freezer-safe container and freeze overnight until firm.


The peach liqueur adds flavor and prevents the ice cream from freezing too firmly.
