Rich, fudgy, and perfectly crackled, these chocolate crinkle cookies are a holiday classic! No mixer or chill time required! Recipe yields 24 cookies.

Combine dry ingredients: Whisk flour, Dutch process  cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl.

Step 1

Melt chocolate: Combine unsweetened chocolate and butter in a microwave-safe bowl.

Heat in bursts, stirring until melted and smooth (about 90 seconds total). Set aside.

Make dough: Combine sugar, brown sugar, and eggs in a large bowl.

Whisk mixture for 1 minute until smooth and ribbony.

Add warm chocolate mixture to the bowl.

Whisk for 30 seconds until smooth.
