Caramel apple tart
is perfect for fall baking season! Fresh apple slices are nestled in homemade caramel sauce between two layers of all-butter pastry!

Spread 1/2 cup to 2/3 cup salted caramel sauce into the chilled tart shell
(enough to evenly coat the bottom).
Step 1

Add sliced apples to the tart pan, arranging tightly together. Use firm apple varieties, such as Fuji, Honeycrisp, and Granny Smith.

Brush the apples with melted butter and sprinkle with granulated sugar.

Arrange dough strips in a lattice pattern and run the rolling pin over the top of the pan to seal the edges. Chill assembled tart for 15 minutes.
